For the price it's a dang good speaker. The rep told me it can go underwater but I'm not going to try that as I don't see it in the box or manual. It's got good sound and the ability to hook 2 of them together is awesome and can give a decent surround sound effect. It's no Dolby digital 5 2 or anything but for at the lake or somewhere out doors they do great

I bought this speaker, and I can confirm that it has a good sound quality, and the battery lasts for a long time.
